Van’s Hello Kitty commemorative kicks.. xx

We went into the city recently and by chance headed to the BIG West Edmonton Mall.  Overwhelmed by all the shops we did find ourselves in a VANS shop looking at shoes..

What did my Hello Kitty obsessed eyes come upon..?!

In commemoration of Hello Kitty’s 40th year Celebration, Van’s created a one-of-a-kind print that blends Hello Kitty’s cute face atop a vintage Van Doren leopard print. For the first time, Vans designed a custom checker board-printed bow just for Hello Kitty’s special celebration styled in the fashion of her 1970’s look.

I was beside myself and really had a hard time walking away from them as there were a few things that made me flip out about these shoes.

First, Hello Kitty..!! Hands down they were sold..!

Second, on a Leopard print. Oh my gosh..! The whip cream I was happy to eat up. x

Third, the checker print bow..! I LOVE checker print as much, if not more than animal print and the three coming together was like a sign..!

Super cute

My husband so graciously offered to get them for me and it took a lot for me to wear them for the first time.  I carried my Loungefly Hello Kitty Bag and even made sure to wear my own checker print bow.

Super cute

I now find myself sitting on the fence in regards to wearing these beauties.  As they will not be produced again I am thinking I am going to save them for special occasions.

Super special

Super cute..!! BmB

  1. Cute! you know what I just found out and my mind is now BLOWN! That Hello Kitty is not a kitty! Read an article yesterday that said this ….

“Nope the Hello Kitty is not a cat. She’s a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She’s never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it’s called Charmmy Kitty.”

I need a moment to process that info..lol!
